The Line and the Signs
This is actually a very simple county line crossing. Route 360 is the county line between Richmond and Northumberland Counties for a distance of just over half a mile. Traveling east you leave Richmond County and enter Northumberland County. The county line follows a stream bed to Route 360 on the west end in the town of Village and then leaves Route 360 at Route 600 the east end. The county line signs are on the West end of this stretch just after entering the town of Village. On leaving the town Route 360 becomes a divided four land highway. It is apparent that the westbound lanes are the old road. So in all likelihood those lanes are the true county line.
